He very lightly criticized his employer and speculated in a mild-mannered way on why he might have been fired. The fact that he was fired wasn't even ever intended to be the topic of the thread; he was just willing to respond to a few questions about it. Compared to how most people talk about former employers who have fired them, this guy was downright courteous.
Was it irresponsible for him to start the thread in the first place? Yes. Did he "spectacularly rip" on his own company? Definitely not. His former employer did spectacularly rip on him, though.
