I agree, but this megacorporation is a direct result of the wants and needs of individuals, so think of Apple as our collective bargaining leverage.

To be fair, Congress seems to be on Apple's side here. It's just our ever-more-overreaching executive branch that's the issue.

But they don't seem to be doing much to help Apple, though. They're just letting this play through, just like they let the executive gain more and more power and they didn't say anything or even encouraged it.

The invisible hand is all powerful.

And at the same time we should be thankful to live in a country where such mega-corporations can exist and thrive.
